Brig. Gen. Jacob Musajjawaza is a distinguished former senior officer of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) with a career spanning several decades. He held key leadership roles, including Director of Supplies and later Chief of Logistics and Engineering until his promotion in December 2003. In 2011, he served as Chief of Production in the UPDF, where he played a critical role in logistics, production, and operational efficiency.
Brig. Gen. Musajjawaza retired in July 2018, alongside ten other senior UPDF officers, marking a significant milestone in the professionalization of the armed forces. His retirement ceremony, presided over by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, recognized his deep involvement in the liberation struggle and his significant financial contributions, including owning a factory in Masaka during the early days of the struggle.
With his extensive military background, strong leadership skills, and experience in logistics, operations, and strategic management, Brig. Gen. Musajjawaza brings valuable insights to the board, particularly in areas of operational efficiency, supply chain management, and governance.
